Old English Marigold– a herbal anti-inflammatory and antiseptic cream – Marigold (Calendula) has a long history of use as a topical antiseptic and skin healer.
Our herbalist adds a touch of lemon eucalyptus oil for very light fragrance and extra antiseptic activity.The anti-inflammatory properties of Calendula relate to the skin surface - so can be used to soothe sunburn, rashes and surface irritations. This is not anti-inflammatory activity that works on joint inflammations (see Comfrey and Wintergreen)
