Milk and Honey Protein Shampoo is the most protein enriched of the Toria Pilar shampoos. This one is great for both really coarse, curly hair and for fine flyaway hair.
In this shampoo, Goat's milk and Honey are combined with herbal extracts and essential oils to really nourish and hydrate the hair and scalp.
Like all the Toria Pilar shampoos, Milk and Honey is a little thinner than most conventional shampoos; commercial shampoos have salt added to thicken the detergents (this is a simple chemical effect - you can try it yourself by adding a strong salt solution to a small amount of Toria Pilar shampoo). We do not add salt because there is compelling evidence that it irritates and dries the scalp. This does not effect the efficacy of the product and you shouldn't need more than a teaspoon or so to effectively wash even the thickest hair.
