These lip balms also contain microfine titanium dioxide - a scary
sounding but super safe mineral that is said to protect the skin
from 90% of UVA and UVB rays. (please note - legally, we cannot
claim a sun protection factor as sunscreens need to be tested
like medicines - a very expensive process. The lip balms have
been made to a recipe that should deliver an SPF of 12-15 but
Toria Pilar cannot admit any responsibility for sunburn or sun
damage caused by injudicious use of these products.)
