Chocolate Orange Shampoo for Dry Hair contains a protein enriched shampoo base derived from coconut and olive oils, with vegetable proteins, pro-vitamins and conditioning agents to gently cleanse the hair and scalp.
This shampoo smells just amazing - just like a famous chocolate - with a hint of spice! Needless to say, it contains lots of organic herbal extracts and oils to leave even the driest of hair clean, shiny and looking great.
Like all the Toria Pilar shampoos, Chocolate Orange is a little thinner than most conventional shampoos; commercial shampoos have salt added to thicken the detergents (this is a simple chemical effect - you can try it yourself by adding a strong salt solution to a small amount of Toria Pilar shampoo). We do not add salt because there is compelling evidence that it irritates and dries the scalp. This does not effect the efficacy of the product and you shouldn't need more than a teaspoon or so to effectively wash even the thickest hair.
